Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles - 2 part class

In this two part class, we will first make a table runner by Pieced Tree and and then learn to use Clear Blue Tiles by Kimberbell.


Supplies:
Sewing machine and embroidery unit with hoops . Bring all your hoops

Clear Blue Tiles box complete set with USB stick. If you have not purchased this set, please order from us so we may have it in time for class.


Basic sewing and embroidery supplies
Small classroom iron and iron pad
Double sided basting tape
1/4" piecing foot
Cotton thread and bobbin to match for piecing
40 wt embroidery thread and bobbin to match for machine embroidery for the quilting
Kimberbell paper tape
Blue wash out marker
Bring a lunch. We will be busy!



Before first class please have done the following:
Cut:
1 rectangle 8" x 30" of main print
Cut 4 squares 3 1/2" main fabric or coordinating fabric
Inner border cut 2 strips 1 1/2" x wof
Outer Border cut 5 strips 2 1/2" x wof
Backing fabric 18 x wof
Batting 18" x 45"
Curved basting pins
