Our new block of the month starts soon. Monday, May 1st at 10:00 a.m.
I will have your fabric and pattern ready at the first class. We will work on block 1 during class.
You will need the following items: Machine and 1/4" piecing foot and all accessories Basic sewing and quilting supplies In class we will spray starch on our fabric. I am going to demo a new product I like called Magic Spray. It is a starch alternative spray and I like as I feel it gets fabric stiffer. I will have it in stock to purchase if you like it. Bring Best Press if you own it to spray on your fabric. You will need a quilting pencil. I like the Trio as it has white, gray and pink lead. 12 1/2" square ruler. I prefer Creative Grids brand 24 1/2" ruler Rotary Cutter, Mat Iron and iron surface Notebook and clear sheet protector pages to put your pattern in. Pencil and Notebook for notes Cotton thread for piecing. You can use a gray or color of choice A smaller square ruler is helpful with this project. I was using a 9 1/2" sq but smaller will work too. Each month I will let you know what rulers and tools are helpful.
