You will need to bring your stick loaded with the embroidery designs from July Class. This is the designs you had to use the code for Amelia Scott Designs. Print out the placemat instructions for either the tree or the pumpkin.
If you have completed the 4 applique designs on placemat fabric then do the following:
Iron your backing fabric. Don't iron your top fabrics as we need the crease lines and lines we drew.
Place backing on a table WRONG SIDE UP. Lightly spray with KK2000 or 505 spray. Place batting on top of batting.
Smooth so there are not any wrinkels on backing fabric.
Place placemat fabric RIGHT SIDE UP on top of batting and smooth any wrinkles. Fiip each quadrant of top back and spray with 505 or KK2000 and reapply to the batting.
Once you have a quilt sandwhich, using quilters basting pins, pin about every 8 inches.
You will use 40wt embroidery thread to quilt the placemats. Choose which color you want and wind a few bobbins to match.
Bring your templates that we made in the August class. Bring your hoop that is same size as template made.
You will need double sided basting tape for this class.
Before class read and learn how to move your needle insdie the hoop area. Some machines call it Design Positioning, Perfect Placement, Pin Point Placement. If you are unsure. maybe call your dealer as we will be using this function.
