Flower Farm Sampler Block of the Month

This class consists of 12 sessions of instruction. The first class you will need to bring your kit of uncut fabric – this session will include a lecture on how to properly identify, prepare and cut fabric for each class. For the second class and following classes, you will be given cutting instructions for the next class and you will need to bring the fabrics cut and prepared to be sewn.

Class Date: 1^st Tuesday of the Month beginning November 2025

Supplies Needed in addition to basic sewing supplies:

Larger Cutting Mat, preferable 18” x 24”

Rotary Cutter with new sharp blade

24” Ruler

Best Press or similar fabric starch

Fabric Pencil

Small Iron and Wool Pressing mat OR Tote size foldaway cutting & pressing mat

Fabric Requirements: Bring your kitted fabric, which results in a quilt sized approximately 80” x 100”. We will be choosing border fabric at the first class, if you choose to add one.

Basic Sewing Supplies: Sewing machine in good working order, foot control, power cord, slide on table if applicable, machine needles, thread, seam ripper, small scissors for fabric, paper scissors, quilting pins, extra bobbins, rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, paper & pencil.
