March Embroidery Club 2026

Happy March!

This month we embroider a cute bunny on a linen cotton fabric. We will use a hand towel for the pillow cover and wrap the embroidery around the pillow. This way you can use different designs you may own (or purchase) and make seasonal pillow wraps.  You may purchase the pillow form from the store.

What to bring:
Your machine and accessories
240 x 150 hoop  (large oval or for smaller size design -  midi hoop for Bernina)
White 60 wt bobbin thread
40 wt embroidery thread in colors -The first colors are the ones suggested by company. Bring colors of choice. You may want your bunny in pink overalls.  Nut brown, Milk white, dark brown, dark blue, warm gray, olive green, beige, cream, blue - gray, marine blue, black.

Hand needle and white/off white poly or cotton thread to sew buttons on.
Sewing machine feet and plate for sewing the sides of pillow cover. Oatmeal/cream thread and bobbin to match

Iron and iron surface

Mesh stabilizer to fit hoop - Place two layers in the hoop
If you already own the 12 x 18 pillow form, bring to class. You can order a pillow form at the store if you do not have one.
