You will have cutting and pressing instructions before class time

Tuck & Travel pattern by Stitchin Sisters

We will be making the Large Bag so purchase fabrics according to pattern.

Do you want a tab and D ring to hang the bag? If so, purchase a 1” D ring.

We will put in a Vinyl pocket. Do you want a mesh pocket also? If so, purchase the colored mesh.

When selecting fabrics, no directional fabrics and use cotton only.

Cut all pieces per large bag pattern.  Label all pieces

Cut Shape Flex per pattern

Cut fusible fleece per pattern

Cut 1 vinyl piece. We will cut the mesh in class

Center and press Shape Flex interfacing on the wrong side of:

11 ½” x 23” main fabric

11 ½” x 23” lining fabric.

7 ½” x 11” back pocket

2” x 11 ½” band

Center and press the Fusible Fleece on wrong side of the Main piece 11 ½” x 23”

 Thread to match or coordinate with fabrics.  Wind a bobbin to match.

¼” piecing foot and walking foot, and a stitch in the ditch foot, walking foot 

Basic sewing and quilting supplies, wonder clips, point turner, magic spray

Small iron and wool mat

12 ½” cutting mat or larger, ruler and rotary cutter
